Rockingham Celebrates Success at Awards Night

ROCKINGHAM is celebrating after sweeping the honours at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards presentation evening last night (Thursday, November 26).
For the third consecutive year the circuit entered the annual prestigious awards organised by the Evening Telegraph and its sister newspaper the Chronicle & Echo in association with the Northamptonshire Chamber.
The Northamptonshire circuit won the Best Marketing Campaign Award for the coverage generated by its Radio 1 Driving Challenge with Vernon Kaye and Dave. They were also short-listed for in the Community Investment category.
Rockingham’s Marketing Team Leader Chris Wiseman was presented with the accolade by comedian Jason Manford at the prestigious event held for the second consecutive year at the Barcelo Hotel in Daventry.
Rockingham Chairman Len O’Hagan, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been short-listed for the two categories we entered. It has really put the icing on the cake on what has been a fantastic year for Rockingham.
“We have a small team at Rockingham and these awards are in recognition for all the hard work, dedication and total commitment that everyone gives to the circuit. We are really proud of the team’s achievements.”
